How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity Sarasota Homeownership Program

Step 1: Contact the Homeowner Services Department at 941-487-5520 or email hscoordinator1@habitatsrq.org. Applicants must demonstrate need for adequate housing, be a US citizen or permanent resident, have the ability to pay a Habitat mortgage, live or work in Sarasota County, and be willing to partner with Habitat through the construction process.

Notes

Since 1985, Habitat Sarasota has helped 400 families improve their living conditions. Program includes construction of a new home plus preparation for homeownership including personal finance, mortgage, and maintenance education.
