Eligibility
- Income limits: Must meet low to moderate income guidelines based on household size
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years, except a mobile home. Displaced spouses due to domestic violence or divorce may also qualify.
- Geographic restrictions: Must live or work in Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, or Boca Raton for the last 12 consecutive months.
- Homebuyer education required: No
How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County Homeownership Program
Step 1: Visit habitatsouthpalmbeach.org to review qualifications and submit an application. Applicants and co-applicants must complete a minimum of 300 tracked sweat equity hours each, partnering in construction of Habitat homes or volunteering at local community nonprofits. All household members must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
