How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West Homeownership Program
Step 1: Contact the Homeownership Center at (985) 893-3172 ext 246 for information.
Step 2: Download and complete the Personal Profile Form and Initial Budget Form from habitatstw.org.
Step 3: Call to schedule an appointment to review your application.
Step 4: If you meet initial criteria, attend homebuyer education classes.
Step 5: Complete the full application process and interview.
Step 6: If selected, fulfill sweat equity hours and work with Habitat through the home-building process.

Builds affordable homes and provides homeownership education across western St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington parishes. Operates the St. Tammany Homeownership Center (STHOC), the only HUD-approved Local Housing Counseling Agency in the region, offering pre-purchase counseling, financial education, and post-purchase support.
