Step 1: Contact Housatonic Habitat for Humanity at (203) 744-1340 to learn about current application cycles. Must complete homeownership courses, 250 hours of sweat equity, and various service requirements.

Must currently be living in inadequate housing. Must not qualify for a conventional mortgage. Must not currently own a home. Must have stable income to pay monthly mortgage including taxes, insurance, and utilities.
