Eligibility

  • Income limits: Household income between 50% and 80% of the Area Median Income.
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the last 3 years.
  • Geographic restrictions: Home must be within the City of Houston and eligible to pay taxes to the City of Houston.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes
