How to Apply for Hudson County EDC Address Yourself Down Payment Assistance

Apply through the Hudson County Economic Development Corporation. Call (732) 640-2061, ext. 505 or visit hudsonedc.org/housing for details. Applicants must provide proof of identity, income, debt service, and savings. Veterans must provide DD214, DD215, DD256, DD257, military ID, veteran ID, or alternative proof of service. Home buyers receive free HUD-certified housing counseling.

Notes

At least 50% of grants are earmarked for qualified veterans. Non-veteran residents are guaranteed a portion. Funded by a $200,000 HCEDC grant administered by NJCC. Veterans of all branches including reserves and National Guard are eligible for veteran priority.
