  • Income limits: Must meet HUD income limits for low-to-moderate income households
  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years.
  • Geographic restrictions: Property must be located within the city limits of Jonesboro, AR. Property cannot be located within a flood zone and must meet HUD Minimum Housing Quality Standards.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Jonesboro Homeownership Assistance Program

Step 1: Contact the Program Manager at 870-336-7170 or grants@jonesboroAR.gov. Complete a Homebuyer Education Course with a HUD-approved counseling service. Get pre-approved with an approved lender. Find a home within Jonesboro city limits. Assistance is paid directly to the title company at closing.
