How to Apply for Kansas Housing Assistance Program (KHAP)
Step 1: Apply through one of the KHAP participating lenders (about 20 in the Sedgwick County area). Borrower must have minimum 660 credit score for 4% assistance, or 640-659 for 3% option. 30-year fixed-rate FHA, VA, USDA RD, or Conventional first mortgage required.
