Eligibility
- Income limits: Combined family income cannot exceed 130% of Area Median Income (AMI)
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years.
- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase an eligible single-family home, condo, or co-op in Nassau or Suffolk County. Property must be a foreclosed home.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for LIHP Community Stabilization Program (CSP)
Step 1: Contact the Long Island Housing Partnership at (631) 435-4710 or visit www.lihp.org. Complete LIHP pre-purchase mortgage counseling. Submit a formal application with required documentation. All household members must be U.S. citizens or qualified resident aliens.
