  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Step 1: Submit a homeowner application through Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity. Meet income requirements between 60-80% of Monmouth County median income. Complete 250-400 hours of sweat equity depending on family size. Attend homebuyer education courses. Apply for the Monmouth County First-Time Homebuyer Grant for additional closing cost assistance.
