Eligibility
- Income limits: Income limits based on household size. For example, a four-person household maximum is $99,550.
- First-time buyer required: No
- Credit score minimum: 620
- Geographic restrictions: Property must be located in one of 23 Western Pennsylvania counties including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania LIFT Program
Step 1: Contact NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania at (412) 281-9773 or info@neighborworkswpa.org. Must meet with a NeighborWorks counselor in person prior to approval. After closing, must continue meeting with counselor for 6 months, then annually for 7 years.
Notes
Homebuyers must contribute at least $1,200 of their own money. Must arrange a conventional or FHA loan with an approved lender partner.
