How to Apply for Perth Amboy First-Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program

Step 1: Contact the City of Perth Amboy Office of Housing & Social Services at (732) 826-4300 or visit 1 Olive Street, 1st Floor, Perth Amboy, NJ. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All applicants must attend a Homebuyer Education Course offered by a HUD-certified agency. If the home was built before 1978, it must pass a lead-based paint inspection.
