  • Income limits: Must meet employer-specific criteria.
  • First-time buyer required: No
  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase within the SINA target area in southern Hartford, including Frog Hollow, South Green, and Barry neighborhoods.
  • Homebuyer education required: No

How to Apply for SINA Homeownership Incentive Program (HIP)

Step 1: Complete the HIP application and submit to your employer's Human Resource Office with a pre-approval letter from your lender. You will have 90 days from approval notification to locate an eligible home within the target area and obtain a signed purchase and sale agreement. Notes

Available exclusively to employees of Hartford Hospital, Trinity College, and Connecticut Children's Medical Center. The $10,000 incentive check is paid jointly to the buyer and closing attorney before closing.
