Step 1: Contact South Suburban Housing Center at (219) 932-4800. Must use conventional financing from a participating lender (FHA, VA, and USDA loans are not eligible). Cannot own other residential real estate at closing.

Participating lenders include Associated Bank, First Savings Bank of Hegewisch, Huntington, Mutual of Omaha, Old National Bank, and Wintrust. Conventional financing only — FHA, VA, and USDA not eligible.
