How to Apply for Sumter Habitat for Humanity Homeownership
Attend a Homeowner Application Meeting held by Sumter Habitat for Humanity. The application process takes about three months, followed by 10-15 months for construction and sweat equity. Must complete 300 HIP (Homebuyer in-Process) volunteer hours including construction, ReStore work, education, and community engagement.
