How to Apply for SWLA Credit Union Hand Up to Homeownership

Step 1: Contact Southwest Louisiana Credit Union to enroll. Participants complete a series of homebuyer education classes, are paired with a Certified Financial Counselor, and save $1,000 over a maximum 90-day period. SWLA CU then matches the savings 5:1 for a total of $6,000 toward the home purchase.
