- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a home in Anne Arundel County, MD. Must occupy the property as principal residence. Non-occupant co-borrowers are not permitted.

How to Apply for Anne Arundel County Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP)
Contact ACDS at 410-222-7600 to enroll in the free Homeownership Counseling Program (4 classes, 8 hours total, held virtually via Microsoft Teams). You must graduate from the counseling program before entering into a contract to purchase a home. After graduation, work with a participating lender to apply for the MAP loan alongside your first mortgage.
