  • First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home in the past 3 years.

How to Apply for City of Plantation First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program

Step 1: Contact the City of Plantation Housing & Grants Division. Complete a HUD-approved 8-hour homebuyer education workshop. Submit an application through the city along with required documentation including proof of income, identification, and mortgage pre-approval. Work with a city-approved lender to finalize financing.
