  • Geographic restrictions: Must purchase a home in Cobb County, Georgia. Home must serve as principal residence and be occupied within 60 days of closing.

How to Apply for Cobb County My Home DPA Program

Step 1: Get pre-approved for a mortgage by a Cobb County My Home DPA participating lender. Eligible loan products include FHA, VA, and Freddie Mac HFA Advantage conventional. Visit georgiabuyerdpa.com/cobb for participating lender list.

Notes

FHA and VA borrowers need 660 minimum FICO. Freddie Mac borrowers need 640 minimum FICO. Max DTI 45% for 640-679 FICO, 50% for 680+ FICO. No first-time homebuyer requirement.
