Assistance continues for up to 15 years for non-elderly/non-disabled families or up to 30 years for elderly/disabled families, as long as eligibility requirements are met.

- Income limits: Must be a current Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participant.
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homeowner as defined by HUD regulations.
- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase within Daytona Beach Housing Authority jurisdiction.

How to Apply for Daytona Beach Housing Authority HCV Homeownership Program
Contact the Daytona Beach Housing Authority at HCV@dbhafl.org. You must be a current HCV participant, employed full-time (30+ hours/week) for at least one year, and able to provide a minimum 3% down payment (at least 1% from personal resources). Complete required homeownership and housing counseling.
