How to Apply for City of Daytona Beach SHIP Down Payment Assistance Program
Step 1: Contact one of the City's nonprofit housing partners — Homes Bring Hope at (386) 317-5767 or Mid-Florida Housing Partnership at (386) 274-4441 — to begin a pre-screening and eligibility assessment. Complete a HUD-approved homebuyer education course, get pre-approved for a first mortgage, and find an eligible home within city limits priced at $258,690 or less.

Program funded through State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds. The City partners with Homes Bring Hope and Habitat for Humanity to provide housing for qualified buyers. In 2025, 19 families became homeowners through this program.
