Eligibility
- Income limits: At or below 80% AMI for FFD; at or below 120% AMI for FFD Keys. Must be first-time homebuyer.
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must not have owned a home previously. Keys requires first-generation and/or minority homebuyer status.
- Geographic restrictions: Available through Erie Federal Credit Union for homes in the Erie area
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for Erie FCU FHLBank First Front Door Program
Step 1: Contact Erie Federal Credit Union Mortgage Center. 2026 funding rounds: Keys opens April 7, FFD opens May 19. First-come, first-served while funds last.
Notes
Erie FCU participates in two FHLBank Pittsburgh grant programs. The standard First Front Door (FFD) provides up to $15,000 for first-time homebuyers at or below 80% AMI who contribute at least $1,500. The First Front Door Keys program provides up to $20,000 for first-generation and/or minority first-time homebuyers at or below 120% AMI who contribute at least $1,000.
