How to Apply for Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program
Step 1: Apply through Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity at (585) 546-1470. Each applicant must contribute 300 hours of sweat equity toward building their home. Selection is based on need, willingness to partner, and ability to repay an affordable mortgage.

Since 1984, GRHFH has served more than 450 families. Eligibility based on need (substandard housing, cost burden at 35%+ of income, or overcrowding), willingness to partner, and ability to pay.
