  • First-time buyer required: No
  • Geographic restrictions: Statewide Washington. Must pair with a WSHFC Home Advantage first mortgage.
  • Homebuyer education required: Yes

How to Apply for Home Advantage DPA

Step 1: Complete the free five-hour WSHFC homebuyer education class at heretohome.org.

Step 2: Contact a WSHFC participating lender.

Step 3: Lender reserves both the first mortgage and the Home Advantage DPA second mortgage.

Notes

Income limit raised from $180,000 to $215,000 effective September 15, 2025. Credit score minimum follows lender overlays; WSHFC removed its 620 overlay in June 2023.
