Up to 4% down payment and closing cost assistance as a 0% interest forgivable second mortgage (Forgivable Loan)

Forgivable after 60 to 180 months (5 to 15 years) depending on loan terms. Remaining balance due if first mortgage is prepaid, refinanced, or property is sold, transferred, or foreclosed before the forgiveness period.

How to Apply for JPFA Comfort of Home Program

Notes

No recapture tax in this program. First mortgage may be prepaid at any time without penalty. Can be combined with other JPFA programs like Heroes to Homeowners and Welcome to Jefferson.
