Eligibility
- Income limits: Low to moderate income. Specific income limits vary by county and household size.
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homebuyer (not owned a home in the past 3 years) or a first-generation homebuyer (parents/guardians never owned a home or lost home to foreclosure/short sale).
- Geographic restrictions: Must purchase in one of 16 hurricane-impacted counties: Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Duplin, Edgecombe, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Robeson, Scotland, and Wayne.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
