How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake Homeownership Program

Step 1: Apply through Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake. Must complete sweat equity hours: 250 hours for individual buyers (200 volunteer service + 50 homebuyer education), 350 hours for two-adult households.

Notes

Habitat builds and rehabilitates homes in partnership with qualifying families. Must demonstrate stable, verifiable employment. Bankruptcies must be discharged for 2+ years.
