- Income limits: 60% to 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) as established by HUD
- First-time buyer required: Yes — Must be a first-time homebuyer.
- Geographic restrictions: Must currently live and/or work in Broward County for at least one year.

How to Apply for Habitat for Humanity of Broward Homeownership Program
Step 1: Complete the four-step application process: pre-qualification questionnaire, orientation, financial analysis review, and face-to-face interview. Must have at least $1,500 in an established savings account. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Contact Habitat for Humanity of Broward at 954-763-7771.
Notes
The program does not use credit scores but evaluates good debt vs. bad debt. Applicants can have no more than $2,500 in collections ($5,000 if all medical).
