- First-time buyer required: No
- Credit score minimum: 640
- Geographic restrictions: Available statewide in Texas except Travis County and the city limits of El Paso, Grand Prairie, and McKinney.
- Homebuyer education required: Yes
How to Apply for SETH 5 Star Texas Advantage Program
Step 1: Complete the SETH online homebuyer education course, then apply through a SETH participating lender. Find lenders at seth5star.com.
Notes
No first-time homebuyer requirement. Offers FHA, USDA, VA, and conventional financing. An additional $3,500 grant available when combined with the SETH MCC Program.
